And, in The End...
“Love is the only currency that works in reverse. The only way to have more of it is to give more away.”
Strikingly accurate…no?
Yet in a world oriented towards accumulating more experiences, people, events, ideas, and other things, it seems this point has been somewhat repressed.
Perhaps chronically and systemically oppressed in order to depress us Earth dwellers.
But I digress…
Instead of me trying to find 1000 words to restate and explain my understanding of these words, I think I can leave it incredibly brief.
The more we offer true love and compassion to all other parts of life, the more we experience the riches that true universal love offers.
It is kind of weird to view it like this, when we are all so needing to keep doing our “life things” to keep our lives going in the way we are accustomed.
Is there room to open up to a tiny bit more compassion for another person?
Is there room to allow your thoughts to soften just one iota towards the situation and people that you feel you “hate?”
If you have any extra space at all, let it be filled with the truth of universal love; the love from which your entire existence is created and sustained, and the same one that drives our lives.
What do you lose in the process?
What could you gain in the process?
I wonder.
“And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.”
